A few questions

How can you crave something, but be sick to your stomach about it at the same time? It's been over 3 months that I have indulged in sugar now. Trust me, this is NOT my first choice... especially when I have to sit and watch my hubby eating all my Christmas goodies. True story, he "didn't want me to be tempted" so he "kindly removed the temptation." Where's the kindness in that?? Ok, it actually was a gut saver for me, because even though I am not supposed to, eventually I would have caved in and eaten it myself. And right now I am really craving a pan of brownies.

So, T is now well past his 3rd Birthday. And still in diapers. And I know he is ready, but I'm just not sure that I am ready to go through it. Is it really as bad as I am making it out to be in my mind? I have already potty-trained one child, but for some reason I am scared to try with T. Probably because of all the horror stories I keep hearing about how difficult it is to train boys. Anyone out there have any advice for me??

So, I think we have finally gotten over the sickness at our house. Aspen caught pneumonia, and was pretty sick for a week with that. I know it could have been a lot worse, fortunately we were able to treat it here at home. She still has a cough, but that has been going on since Thanksgiving. I'm hoping she will be completely better by her Birthday in a few weeks. She is turning 8, and is VERY excited to get baptized. That is all she has talked about for months now. I found a really cute white dress for her at Burlington Coat Factory, of all places, for $20! Ok, it looks more like a flower girl dress, but will be perfect for her & exactly what she wants. I was even able to find her some white sandals to go with it for only $15. I love it whenI can walk into a store and find exactly what I am looking for.

Speaking of Aspen, she has decided she wants to have a Horse Them e for her Birthday this year. I am welcome to any ideas for games, decorations, etc. It will be a small party with about 4-5 friends, so we are trying to keep it simple.

DO you know that it is very hard to type on the computer with a toddler on your lap who keeps plucking your fingers off the keyboard and trying to "help" you type???
