"All I want for Christmas..."

On Sunday, my Mom and Dad came up for a visit. We were out for a walk, and I looked into Tysen's mouth and discovered the reason for his extra fussiness over the past few days. His bottom two teeth have broken through! Add that to the list of firsts for the month, right along with his first haircut which happened on the 14th. It consisted of me holding him down on the floor and taking the clippers to his hair. Hard to believe I am giving haircuts to my 7-month old! I must admit, it is MUCH easier giving him haircuts than it is giving them to the girls. Tysen is getting much better at sitting up on his own, although he is still a bit tipsy, and he likes to play on his tummy now. He can scoot himself backwards, though usually not intentionally, and he can spin himself around. Now if he could just get the forward motion down. He is starting to get up on his hands and knees and bounce forward and backward, so it won't be long before he discovers the joy of crawling. He is such a happy, sweet little boy!
