The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind for us. We've spent many hours at the new house fixing things up. On New Year's Eve we found some renters who wanted to be in right away- and we still had all the painting, carpet cleaning, and light fixtures to do. But we couldn't do anything until after the Dodds Family Reunion here at Aspen Grove was over (which was a TON of fun, by the way- it went by way too fast!!). So we recruited lots of help and spent the whole day on Friday working, and the whole day and night on Saturday working. On Monday our renters moved in. Now we can start painting on our side!
Aside from the Reunion and the new house, I have been appointed as the Newsletter editor for the Utah Valley Quilt Guild. In all my spare time the past couple of weeks, I had to learn how to use Microsoft Publisher, round up all the articles and ads, and get the newsletter published and mailed. I finished that up yesterday- so today I can finally take a breath!

Good work with all your hard work! It is fun to have a few extra things to do outside the "domestic sphere" isn't it? It was so good to see you guys the other day! Let's plan on you guys stopping by one afternoon after one of your apts that bring you to town. (I left some comments below as well!)
I'm so glad you guys have found renters such a relief I'm sure! I'm sorry we missed you guys while we were there. I got your message but we were running around like chickens with our heads cut off :)
