Seriously, are we going through this again??
No, I'm not pregnant...
We are car shopping. It was just a year ago that we went from a 1-car family to a 2-car family. And boy, what a big difference it has made for us! We've loved the Acadia, it was a super-nice car... but it was a bit squishy with 3 kids in carseats (okay, one is just in a booster) on the 2nd row seat. And, I'll be honest. I was NOT a fan of black leather interior this summer. It makes me sweat, and it keeps heat in. The AC was great, but still... the black showed EVERYTHING, too.
So, just for fun, we listed it on KSL.com. And had a buyer. Who turned out to be very serious, and bought it. At first, I was like, "Wait... do I really want to sell my car? I love my car!" but then I remembered the sweaty leather, and how many times I banged my head on the DVD player screen that popped down from the roof right in the way of me reaching back to pacify angry children, and incidentally which narrowed my rear view field of vision quite a bit. Not a fan of that.
So now we're looking for another car. And we found two that we like... both are 2007 GMC Yukons. I know, we're kinda hooked on those. One is Silver metallic & almost identical to the Acadia, only roomier. The other is Bronze metallic and mostly the same on the inside as the other one, just a few differences on the control panel. Both would be excellent choices, both are in excellent condition with low miles. It all comes down to picking and choosing just one. Because Jim told me that I couldn't have both of them. And one is located in California, the other in Indianna. Yeah.. that makes it a bit harder.
So, which should I choose? Silver, or bronze?

Silver! If the bronze color is the same shade as the beast we drive, then everyone - I mean EVERYONE - has that vehicle in that color. At least silver is a little different!! But, uh, it didn't stop us obviously. You can't pass up a good deal if it's just the right one. Good luck!
Yes, the Silver won out!! But, now we are in the middle of trying to get it shipped here. That's another story in itself, but I'm just hoping the car will get here in perfect condition & that it will, indeed, be the car we thought we were getting (since we haven't even looked at it yet!).
