Astigmatism

Jim and I went in for eye exams a few weeks ago. I found out the reason why I get headaches from watching TV or even looking at the computer for more than a few minutes. I have astigmatism. But just in my left eye. Weird, I know. It is minor enough that the Doc said I could choose whether or not to get glasses. I decided not to at the time, but am thinking I might need to go get some for watching TV or doing anything on the computer... or even for sewing. Because my vision goes blurry when I try to look at something for too long, then I start feeling a lot of eye strain as my eyes try to get things into focus, and when that goes on for very long, the headache comes. If I am doing something where I am looking around at different things a lot, it doesn't bother me at all. But when I need to just focus on one area for more than a few minutes, that's when I have a problem. Like driving. Guess I better go order some glasses.
