Okay. Here is this week's highlights:
1- Started the week off last Sunday, which was Easter and also happened to be my 9th Anniversary, with the flu. Sick in bed with aches, pains, and pounding headache. Ouch!
2- Had my wisdom teeth pulled on Tuesday. Also had 2 fillings put in at the same time. Quadruple ouch!!
3- Aunt Flo came to visit sooner than expected... with a vengeance! OUCH!!!
Needless to say, my running program took a dive this week. I was told to wait 5 or more days after getting my teeth pulled before "engaging in any strenuous exercising or lifting" although apparently, hauling my 30-lb children around during the day doesn't count as "strenuous." I did attempt to run this morning... on the treadmill, because it SNOWED all day... and could definitely tell that I have been sick and in pain. Couldn't even complete 3 miles, walking half of it. Mouth hurt the rest of the day from the jarring. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a more positive note: being on a soft-food diet all week has been beneficial to my waistline. I lost 3 lbs! Even though I ate almost half a pan of brownies all by myself today... that'll catch up to me, I'mn sure. But it was soooo good!
