So we switched everything from the Yukon to the new car, and then we headed up to Idaho for Jim's youngest sister's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding- and I was able to finish a few project just before leaving. I made matching skirts for me and the girls; suspenders, bowtie & a white shirt for Ty; and a tie for Jim. Unfortunately, the white shirt for Ty and the tie for Jim didn't turn out so well, but the rest turned out really cute. I also finished a baby quilt for my sis-in-law that was simple, easy, and SOOO cute! I'll definitely be using this pattern again. It was a great way for me to practice my machine quilting skills (which really need a lot of work)! Jim actually said this was one of his favorite quilts that I have made. I want to make another one already- good thing there are more babies coming in the family!
Block #3 for a Jelly Roll Quilt-along project (a jelly roll is a set of about 40 different strips of fabric from the same line that all match. They are 2.5" wide x44" long). There will be 12 blocks in the end that I will put together into a top. I love the red-white-blue patterns- so cute!
This was block #2
Ok, this was not a great family picture, but it was the best one to show our outfits. Unfortunately, the camera battery died before we could get a good shot. I'll have to try again later. So, now I can get back to working on some of my other unfinished projects. I'm hoping to finish up at least 3 of them by the end of the summer, but who knows what will happen!

I may or may not be completely obsessed with that quilt... :-)
It also may or may not be one of my absolute favorite things I've gotten...
I may or may not want to cuddle with it all the time...
:-) THANK YOU!
