Baby Steps!

Madi started Preschool on March 2. There must have been magic in the air in her class, because she came home that afternoon, and wha-la! She started walking! I finally caught some on video:

The funny thing, is that she could do it before but refused to. Perhaps being surrounded by 11 other little walking tots inspired her to go from quadri-ped to bi-ped. Whatever it was- extra motivation, adorable little examples to emulate, or a new challenge she was finally ready for- we're so thrilled that she has discovered the joy of being on her feet. She literally walks all over the place at home now, from one room to the next. She especially loves to check herself out in the mirror in the hallway. I have to admit, those first few weeks & months of a baby learning to walk are so precious! I love how she holds her hands out to keep her balance, and takes the teeniest, daintiest little steps. So cute!
