Ultrasound #3

Baby's hand & foot

Baby's body & profile

I just had my 3rd Ultrasound yesterday. I was at 21 weeks and 2 days. Everything looked great as far as the baby's measurements and structure. So far, the only cause for concern was that when I had Ultrasound #2 done at 19 weeks, my placenta was low-lying, meaning that there was a possibility that it could prevent my cervix from dialating properly when I go into labor- if it is too low, they would have to do a C-section, which I am really hoping to avoid. So they will keep an eye on that. I thought I would post some pictures. They are actually from Ultrasound #1, but they are the most clear so far. So they were from almost 2 months ago, but they were done at the hospital with the high-resolution machine, which turned out some really good pictures!

Yay for another ultrasound! From what I understand, low-lying placentas often move out of the way later on. I hope it does for you!

I hope it moves too... c-sections aren't much fun. I had 2 of them. It is so amazing to look at ultrasound pictures. the hi-res is really neat!

yeah for ultrasounds! I hope baby moves too, C- sections are definitely not fun with 1 baby I can't imagine with 1 baby and 2 kids :) We'll keep praying for you!
