On Friday, Jim and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary. It is strange for me to think that we have been married for 7 year now! It really only seems like a few years ago, on a beautiful, warm day in St George when we began this wonderful life together.

This year, Jim was in charge of planning our day. After he got off work, we dropped the girls off at a babysitter's then headed downtown to find somewhere nice to eat. Unfortunately, with BYU Graduation happening this weekend, everywhere we tried to go had atleast a 30-40 minute wait. At Magleby's, we were told we could eat up at the bar. Not the most comfortable, or romantic option- but they were quick and got us our food in a timely manner. Then we walked over the the movie theater (in Riverwoods) to watch a movie. We saw Race To Witch Mountain- a cute show. Then Jim drove me up to the temple, and we sat out on a bench and talked for a little bit- then he surprised me by giving me a beautiful new ring. Not one to replace my wedding ring, but a band that I can wear instead of it on occasion if I want to. I still love my wedding ring, but sometimes it will be nice to wear just the band. The band is really beautiful, with 5 rows of jewels. The 1st, 3rd and 5th rows are diamonds and the 2nd and 4th are sapphires. I couldn't have picked a more beautiful one myself. My husband knows me so well :)

It was a fun evening, and I look forward to many, many more wonderful years to come!
