Fall Follies

It seems too soon for Fall to be here already. As much as I love the changing seasons, I was ready for a few more months of summertime. The leaves, as usual, are gorgeous- and we have lots of "leaf-peepers" out. Some people have no sense of self-preservation, as they will stop their car in the middle of the road, get out, stop wherever they want to (usually in the oncoming traffic lane) and take pictures. So for those of us who live in the canyon, we have to plan an extra 10 minutes of driving time to get anywhere- and we definitely have to be on the lookout for starry-eyed picture-takers!
Here are some pictures of the leaves. I have to be honest, they are from a few years ago. Enjoy!

Pretty mountain!

On a more dismal note, we've all had a bout of the stomach flu. Madi, as usual, has had it the longest. Aspen had it for a day, and I had it for a day. Luckily Jim has gone through the week unscathed, since he has had his Wastewater Management Course Certification all week. Hopefully we are through with it now and can get on with our lives. It's definitely no fun having sick kids!
