So I finally took Madi to the Doctor's on Friday, since she had been running a low-grade fever for 4 days and acting quite lethargic. All she wanted to do was be held, and lay on my shoulder. She got really fussy on Friday so I took her in and found out that in addition to teething, she has an ear infection. We started her on the anti-biotics, and within 24 hours, she was doing much better. Now she's back to her perky, happy self. She has got to be the perfect baby. She is so happy and content all the time- when she is feeling well. But even when she isn't, she just wants to cuddle and be held. She's just so sweet and cuddly.
We've decided to put Aspen in Trompers this week. She already loves the Tromper leaders- Ashley Day and Kim Smith. Ashley has babysat her a couple of times, and Aspen is always asking if Ashley can come to our house to play with her. It's nice that Aspen loves to participate in the age groups! Aspen is also making other friends on staff. In fact, we usually eat outside on the deck of Beckam Lodge with all the staff, and usually we spend most of the time trying to bribe her to sit down and eat her food rather than bug all the staff. Still, it is nice to know that she is sociable. Mostly, the staff members like to play with her and have fun. I think we'll all be going through some serious withdrawals when summer ends!

So many free babysitters....how lucky! :) She is going to have so many wonderful memories of her childhood growing up at AG! How many people can say that?
Can I tell you how much I miss you? Well, I do. There, I said it.
teething and ear infections are so not fun!!! I'm sorry. We're about done with them over here...
