I'm really tired tonight. I don't like having to do the whole parent thing without Jim- it's hard! I was up until midnight last night, trying to meet my deadline for the Quilt Guild newsletter. Then, up at 6:20am to get the kids up and ready for school. Actually, I was deprived of a full 10 minutes of sleep, because Aspen got up to go potty and turned the hall light on. Drat! Oh well, 10 minutes probably doesn't make a huge difference in the long run, right? So Jim called tonight and they were going to stop in Little Rock for the night. I can't imagine driving all day like that, for 3 days in a row! Driving long distances like that is for sure not my favorite activity. Maybe that is because of all the driving I do every single day, taking kids to school. Which to be honest isn't all that bad because it only takes 20 minutes to get to Orem, I just like to complain. Some days it is hard though, when I've only had 5-6 hours of sleep, then it really is hard to get up and get everyone ready and out the door on time- especially when it is only 8 degrees outside and STILL snowing (true story- it happened yesterday). And the drive home is usually not fun for any of the kids- they are hungry and tired of being in the car yet again, especially if I have had to run errands. So, I'm going to try to go to bed now. Oh wait. Madi is still awake and will be for another couple of hours. Time to go put a chick-flick on and just VEG on the couch! Maybe I'll throw some chocolate in there for good measure.

Sorry you are sleep deprived! It's hard being without Mark when he is traveling and it seems to be happening alot lately - he still has three more trips in the next month and a half. I'm thinking of you though! Good luck with the training - when I did mine, my goal was just to finish, even though it took me a LONG time. :) Miss you!
