We celebrated Tysen's 1st birthday last week. We had a family luncheon with cake & ice cream at the house in Orem during lunchtime. It was fun! My pictures are out of order, but from the one below, you can see who enjoyed the cake the most...
The funny thing is, she did this while I wasn't paying attention. I had set the tray on the chair, with the remains of Ty's cupcake on it, and while I was cleaning Ty up, Madi discovered the tray. She had that cupcake gone in about 5 seconds flat.
This is Ty's hat from Aunt Emily... I never knew he was a hat baby! He wore it for a long time, and it was really cute!
He really wasn't too impressed with the cake and ice cream. He tried as hard as he could to NOT get any in his mouth or on himself...
...until we finally had to help him discover how much fun messy eating is.
Later in the evening, back at Aspen Grove, he opened his presents. He loves his fire truck with the building blocks! He's definitely a boy, and loves balls & anything he can throw, and anything with wheels. Tysen is the happiest, giggliest baby! He loves to try to copy any sounds, actions, or games that his older sisters play (especially Aspen). We love him to pieces!
