Random thoughts

Here I am at 36 weeks of pregnancy and feeling very sore and big. I'm looking forward to having this little boy join our family! I'm amazed at the generosity of so many kind people in my life. I have had countless people in my ward, my family, and other friends offer to help me with the girls as things get closer to us having this new baby. Just like when we had Madi, and so many people jumped in to help us at the drop of a hat. We've had so many amazing things given to us as well- cribs, high chairs, a baby swing, clothing, even a carseat and a double-stroller (which we are definitely going to need!). I have to admit that as excited as I am, I am also very nervous about actually having this baby- so far, all of my childrens' births have been a traumatic thing for me to go through in one way or another. I'm really hoping for no surprises this time. It's really great to have the support of good friends and family around, though- and knowing that there are so many people who have offered to help. I definitely don't feel prepared to go from 2 to 3 kids, but I absolutely can't wait to meet this precious little boy who likes to kick and wiggle so much! Nothing brings me closer to heaven and the thin-ness of the veil than bringing a brand-new baby into the world.
