Yes, it has taken us a month to finally get our loan papers signed on the house. It seems like there were so many problems that came up- as soon as we got one thing resolved, another one popped up. I'm so grateful that we had an awesome loan officer working with us, he saved our bacon on more than one occasion!
That being said, we are still waiting for the bank who is selling the house to sign all the documents. Which hopefully will not take more than a day. But with their track record, we're not holding our breath. We're just hoping to take ownership by Christmas!
We're very excited to have our own place. We will rent out the other side as soon as we make some much-needed changes and repairs. We also look forward to having any family who may be in town over, and who may need a place to stay. Scott and Karissa are planning on moving into the basement of our side, and we're very excited to have them there. It'll be great to have someone else in the house with us to help monitor the other tenants and such.
So, as long as the bank signs the papers, we'll be proud home-owners!!

Yay! I'm so excited for all of that to be done. I'm sure you'll sigh a big sigh of relief and feel a weight off your shoulders...until payments are due, right? :-) hehe. We're excited to move in!

I'm so happy you'll be down here in the valley! But I can't believe you'll be leaving AG, living there that is. We're excited to have you guys so close, now we can do game nights any time!
