Tag, I'm It!

1- What were you doing 10 years ago?
Let's see- that would have been February of 1998. I was at BYU and had just received my mission call to the Austria Vienna South mission, speaking Slovenian. The name of the mission was changed while I was there to the Slovenia Ljubljana mission, because the mission home moved from Austria to Ljubljana. I was so excited, and had absolutely no idea what Slovenian was, or where the country even was.

2- 5 things on my To-Do list today:
- Get caught up on my 5+ batches of laundry sitting in the hallway.
- Somehow convince my 3-year old to change out of her jammies, maybe even take a bath, and stop playing with the water in the sink in the bathroom. Hopefully get her outside on a walk with me.
- Finish working on the Closing Show for Aspen Grove this summer. Yes, I am in charge of the whole thing. Actually, Jim is. Which means that I am because he cringes at the very thought of it.
- Read my book
- Work on some humanitarian baby quilts that are taking over my sewing area.

3- Things I would do if I were suddenly a billionaire:
This one is easy: Buy a house, probably a vacation house in St George. Buy a Steinway Grand Piano, which would have to go in my house. Buy a Gammill Longarm Quilting Machine and hire someone to teach me how to use it. Buy lots of fabric and materials to make baby quilts and things for the NICU. Give some money to my family. Start a Family Trust Fund so that Aspen and Madi would always be taken care of. And, go back to Slovenia on a vacation. Just to name a few of my dreams.

4- 2 of my bad habits:
- Eating too many peanut M & M's
- Procrastination!
5- Places I've lived:
- Fairview, Utah
- St George, Utah
- Salt Lake City
- Slovenia
- Provo
- Aspen Grove

6- 5 Jobs I've had:
- Paper Route
- Registration Assistant at LDS Business College
- Teller/Account Rep at First Security Bank, later changed to Wells Fargo Bank
- Security in the Media Center for the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics
- Aspen Grove: Ropes Course, office, store, kitchen, dining hall, maintenance, lifeguard, counselor, and everything else. Really.
- Mom!! Definitely my favorite.

7- 5 things that people don't know about me:
- I can touch my nose with my tongue
- I love board games and card games. My favorite games currently are Ticket to Ride and The Great Dalmuti.
- I really enjoy doing laundry.
- I can play the Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Piano, and Kazoo.
- I am VERY afraid of heights.
So, there you have it. I'd better start on my to-do list, before it becomes tomorrow's list. And I need to go wrestle Aspen out of the bathroom, or atleast into the bathtub. She has been in there putting foaming shampoo in her hair. And she isn't having her bath yet. Scratch all that, Madi just woke up from her nap. Ah, the joys of having a 3-year old and a 1-year old. I honestly wouldn't trade it for the world!

I like how you're VERY afraid of heights, and yet you worked the ropes course...
